The X Factor judge weighed in on the ongoing sex scandal that has rocked Hollywood
Music industry heavyweight Simon Cowell has weighed in on the ongoing sex abuse scandal that has blown Hollywood apart.
The X Factor judge addressed the allegations of rape and sexual harassment against some of the entertainment industry's biggest names - including disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein .
And he made some shocking revelations of his own as he attended the Music Industry Trusts Awards.
"Look, I have grown up in the music business," the 58-year-old music mogul said.
Simon Cowell spoke out about the sex abuse scandal;
He added: "Even as a kid I was put in situations when I was first working you know, it's not a very nice business."
In the past few weeks top actors including Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie and Anthony Rapp have come forward with their accounts exposing some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
And Simon hopes that the more people speak out the more chance of leading to change in the industry.
"Well, I do (think there will be change) actually to be honest with you," he said, according to The Sun .
"People get what they deserve. That's all I'm going to say."
He admitted he was 'put in situations' when he first started out
Last week, the X Factor boss had left fans worried when he took a dizzy spell and fell down the stairs at his home.
He was rushed to hospital after being found by his security, and later revealed that he fainted due to low blood pressure while he was fetching a glass of milk in the middle of the night.
He vowed to adopt a healthier lifestyle for the sake of his young son, Eric, and already looks to be fighting fit again.

He was at the Music Industry Trusts Award ceremony
After missing the first X Factor live shows after his fall, Simon returned to the ITV talent show at the weekend.
And last night, he was back on the red carpet circuit as he attended the Music Industry Trusts Awards in aid of charities Nordoff Robbins and Brit Trust at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
Simon was looking smart in a black suit and unbuttoned white shirt.
The music industry supremo sported a salt and pepper beard as he posed for photographers with his arms by his side.
Simon returned to X Factor this weekend and awkwardly gave fellow judge Sharon Osbourne the cold shoulder when she told him how much she'd missed him.
Following Leon Mallett's performance of Get Lucky, Simon managed to upset Sharon by shrugging off her kind words.
Sharon said: "I'd just like to say Simon I have missed you so much."
Rather than wish her the same back, Simon simply shrugged off her loving remarks.

The judges sat in silence waiting for Simon to respond, but he really didn't seem to care.
"Alright then," snapped back Sharon, who looked fuming with Simon.
The music mogul then tried to back track and claim that he missed Sharon as well.
Trying to make amends, he said: "I missed you too, I really did."
